Cutie karsten hanging out in his chair. Look how cute he is in his fall clothes!

Halloween Party...

Last night the boys went to a party at the neighbors house. They were very excited. Luke and Grant didn't want to wear an old costume, so I let them wear their new costumes. Luke is a bionicle, Grant is Obi One Conobi??? from Star wars. Grammie Susie sewed Grant's tunic and cape by looking at Star Wars pictures. Sammy wore last years wizard costume. He loves to put on the hat and pretend to cast spells on the older boys.

An evening at the Library....

The photo is pretty blurry, but you might be able to distinguish the man in the photo as the 41st President of the USA, George Bush.

I was able to go to see Jenna Bush give a speech on her new book at the Bush Presidential library here in town. She was introduced by her grandfather. I was actually late because of a car accident that had traffic stopped and a long line to go through security. They put us in an overflow room where we watched the speech on a theater screen. The room was very small, and I was towards the front. Afterwards, she and George and Barbara came and spoke to our room and answered questions. It was very exciting! I was surprised at how much Jenna looks like her mom and dad. My friend snuck her camera in (how did that get by security???) and got this shot. She was disappointed that it was blurry, but in an effort to not attract attention she went with no flash. We are looking forward to more events at the library. -Sara

Mommy and Karsten

Overnight Party

The boys always sleep in the playroom one night of the weekend. It is known as "overnight party". They watch movies and get snacks. Sam has decided he will now be joining. We learned our lesson the first time he joined in when he woke up "freed from the confines of a crib" and was running around at 6am. So now he watches a movie and then goes to sleep in his room. Karsten wants in on the action now too! It is so funny when the boys get their sleeping bags out and you see Sammy running to his crib to get his pillow and blankie too!

Happy Birthday Grant!

Sammy in the circle chair...

Its so funny looking at the exersaucer. When we bought it, it was state of the art. I remember Karen our neighbor pointing out its high tech qualities. Santa brought it for Luke when he was about 6 months old. It was used by all our boys, and cousin Owen. Karsten is using it now, and he really loves it. Even though it is no longer as "high tech" as the other products out there now, the boys love it. So much that I've caught Sammy in it more than once. Do you think he is to big?
