Houston Zoo

Luke was so excited to point out the giraffe plant, edward scissorhands style. They are trying to be goofy here. I'd say they succeeded.
Sam and Luke crawling through the aquarium tube. Yes, those are piranhas swimming around them! Yikes!

Luke by the Baby Asian Elephant.

Sam so excited to see the giraffes.

Luke again, with his Indiana Jones hat. He wore it all day!

Trying to get the whole fam to pose during a snack break.

Luke and the baboon.

Karsten watching the Lemurs. He is trying his hardest to stand up and get out of that stroller.

L, G and S all squeezed into a lifesize bald eagle's nest.

Grant, Sam and Luke on a dolphin. This area of the zoo sustained damage from hurricane Ike.

Crazy Beaver Boys

3 examples of the challenge of photographing all 4 boys. The other post below are funny, but these say it all.

All 250 pics to get these two:

Spring Time and the Boys are Getting Silly

Each individual boy, and some duds for you to laugh at.

Truck Boys

It was so nice out today, that we thought we would take pics of the boys. I thought I would get a good chance to fool around with the settings on my new camera (so some pics are really not that good--my apologies!)------but have you ever tried to get FOUR boys at once????? They are all wearing the new OSU shirts Grammie Pat sent.

Grant........

Grant...
-is our sports fanatic. If he's not playing, he's watching, or tossing a ball for hours all by himself
-Excels in school, is a wonderful reader and quick at math
-he has boundless energy and is a chow hound, but skips breakfast except chocolate milk
-will only cuddle if the mood suits him, which isn't often at all
Grant loves sports so much that he wears sports pants and jerseys to school every day
-finishes a job quickly. No messin' around, he gets it done,
his soccer team and basketball team are both undefeated this year
-He is friends with every kid in his class, there is an endless supply of birthday party invites
Grant loved playing basketball and was voted defensive player for his league by his coach. He made baskets, but excelled at stealing the ball and is a great passer.

Boys.....

Can't you just feel his anticipation?

Joe's birthday...on the official day

Look at the nice present Luke made (he even made the wrapping).
What can it be??????????
Paper Dad and Luke
Joe: "What's this?"
Grant: "That is definitely not a Nintendo Wii"
Joe: "How did you know Myrtle wood is my favorite????"
"Look Mom, your gift makes an awesome beer holder!"
