When I was a young 'un my parents took a picture of me holding a trout that we had caught. It was still wiggling and I cried. To this day I still cry every time I eat fish and chips!
yes it's true, any time Daren says that he wants to get fish and chips everyone acts like they didn't hear him or changes the subject, nobody wants to see a grown man cry at Skippers Seafood restaurant.
I have often, yes very often, wondered why I dislike eating fish (make that hate fish of any kind).
Now I know why, the fish Daren caught so many years ago made him cry and to this day, I can't handle eating something that made my child so sad - and he was really unhappy.
Honestly, I make light of it, but I felt so bad that we wanted him to 'fish'. Not that it matters, but the older I get, the more I distance myself from eating animal products. Not funny, but true.
Sara claims that she killed this fish in self-defense. Just kidding, no fish were harmed in the making of this photo shoot. Joe.
